We have all seen the „Parking for mothers “parking spaces, but did you also know there are parking places for pregnant women? In Germany, this kind of parking places can be found on private parking places where the highway code does not apply. This are some private parking spaces like for example in front of the supermarket, shopping center or in front of the hospital.
The marking is easy to recognize with some stork who brings a baby. Typically, there is more space to get easier out of the car and they are at the same time closer to the entrance.
This one was applied by the company Wöffler from Trier with PREMARK® preformed thermoplastic road markings. It is placed in front of a hospital for pregnant women “Mutterhaus” in Trier, so that the pregnant women can be sure to get a parking place and get fast into the hospital when they are supposed to giving birth.
