Follow 'The Blue Way' in Kehl

There are a lot of interesting tourist attractions in the German city of Kehl - and by means of PREMARK™ footprints and signs they are now much easier for tourists to find.

There are a lot of interesting tourist attractions in the German city of Kehl, which is situated on the boarder of Strasbourg. Finding your way around a new city is not always easy, however. Therefore, a so-called “blue way” (“Der Blaue Weg” in German) made of PREMARK® preformed thermoplastic markings have been applied in the city of Kehl to guide tourists around the city. The way consists partly of blue signs and markings that have been placed in front of the tourist attractions, and partly of blue markings with white footprints that guide the tourists from one tourist attraction to the next. The information on the signposts are both in German, French and English to make them understandable for most tourists.

The 25 footprint markings where installed by Bauhof from the city of Kehl and they are made of PREMARK® preformed thermoplastic.

"The Blue Way" mark a circular route around Kehl. From the market square over the Rosengarten to the Holzbrücke and the Weißtannenturm, and from there, the path leads to the Rhine foothills, past the Passerelle des Deux Rives to Villa Schmidt. The route can be enjoyed both on foot and on bike.
