Proud sponsors of the Road Safety Award

Taking place at Velo-city 2022 Ljubljana, the ECF awards will honour a selection of top achievers in European cycling. By amplifying key success stories in each of these classes, the ECF Awards aims to inspire future progress within the world of cycling, showcasing the pivotal role the bicycle must play in achieving climate targets, such as those set out in the European Green Deal, but also when it comes to improving road safety, public health and making our towns and cities more liveable and easier to commute through by bike.

At Geveko Markings, we are happy to announce that we are sponsoring one of these awards, namely “The Road Safety Award”. This particular award celebrates the most effective measures that have been recently implemented to promote cycling as a key component of improving road safety in Europe. This is an issue that is very important to us as we work to create safe, sustainable, and efficient mobility for everyone and encourage all measures for improving the conditions for cycling and micromobility.

On an everyday basis, we supply materials that heighten road safety with clearly marked areas for cyclists and other micromobility users to make it easier for all vehicle users to reach their destination safely. We believe such markings are critical for ensuring that pro-cycling measures can be implemented effectively, helping to reduce road deaths across the continent. Therefore, we are excited that other such initiatives are celebrated via awards like the Road Safety Award.
