Proud sponsor of the ECF Awards
When the ECF Awards return to the spotlight at the Velo-city Cycling Summit 2025 in Gdansk, Geveko Markings will once again proudly sponsor the Road Safety Award – marking our fourth consecutive year of support.
Hosted by the European Cyclists’ Federation, the ECF Awards recognise the people and initiatives shaping the future of cycling. Our ongoing sponsorship reflects a shared commitment to celebrating innovation and progress across Europe.
The awards span five distinct categories of bicycling excellence, each honoring standout achievements from the past year. Among them, the Road Safety Award holds special meaning for us. This category highlights the most impactful efforts to make cycling safer and more accessible – a mission that resonates deeply with our core values. From improved infrastructure and signage to education and policy changes, these initiatives protect vulnerable road users and promote safer mobility.
"At Geveko Markings, we create safe, sustainable, and efficient mobility for all by providing high-quality road markings in any size, material, color, or form that meet the requirements of our customers, surface owners, and end-users," explains Bianca Pape, Head of Commercial Product Management, Northern & Central Europe.
"Our mission is to develop road marking materials that make a meaningful difference in traffic safety wherever they are applied. With this motivation in mind, we are delighted to support the ECF Award for Road Safety again this year."
Past winners include Oslo, recognised for achieving Vision Zero in its city centre, and Bologna, the first major Italian city to implement a bold 30 km/h speed limit on most streets. Great examples of what is possible when safety takes the lead.
We are honoured to support this important recognition again in 2025. Follow us on social media for award highlights and updates from our time at the Velo-city Summit.
