PlastiRoute™ Rollgrip achieves certification in Australia

At the end of March, our PlastiRoute™ Rollgrip was certified by the Transport Infrastructure Product Evaluation Scheme (TIPES) which is an official national scheme in Australia.

Great news from our Australian site!

At the end of March, our PlastiRoute™ Rollgrip was certified by the Transport Infrastructure Product Evaluation Scheme (TIPES) which is an official national scheme in Australia. This means that our Rollgrip material has achieved a place on the locally approved list and is permitted to use in Queensland, Australia.

Rollgrip has more precisely been certified to Level 3 (full), which is based on tests and evidence from 4.5 years of satisfactory local field performance under heavy traffic loading conditions.

The certification was announced on the Australian Road Research Board’s (ARRB) website, where ARRB’s Principal Professional Leader, Johan Cronje, congratulates our company on achieving the certification with these words:

"The applicant showed a commitment and attention to detail that the local TIPES schemes […] are all about," he says and continues: "Certification provides TMR [i.e. Department of Transport and Main Roads] and most importantly, network users in Queensland, with confidence that these specialist products are fit for purpose. Geveko's achievement comes after a considerable commitment to demonstrating the technical performance of their product and is applauded."
