Cold plastic suitable for high traffic requirements
PlastiRoute is our cold plastic product line. It is particularly useful for areas with high traffic loads where high visibility is required.
The PlastiRoute products comes in both two-component and three-component versions and can be divided into four overall categories: PlastiRoute FP (Fine Plastic), PlastiRoute RP (Rough Plastic), PlastiRoute RollPlast/RollGrip and PlastiRoute CSP (Cold Spray Plastic). All of these products can be applied by hand, however, the CSP and the FP are typically applied by machine.
Machine designing engineers often prefer three-component systems, but all PlastiRoute products come in two-component solutions as well.
The PlastiRoute products have all the well-known properties of cold plastics - and additionally, it is characterised by high durability, low abrasion and low dirt pickup.
Apply by hand or machine
The application of PlastiRoute products is very flexible. You can apply the products with ordinary tools like a trowel, scraper, draw-box or roller as well as non-electric hand-driven machines.
If you choose to apply the cold plastics by machine a wide variety of road marking patterns and lines are available.
For example, PlastiRoute Injectline which is our cost efficient cold spray plastic line or PlastiRoute Spotline which is a regular Type II agglomerate marking that combines PlastiRoute Fine Plastic material, fine drop-on beads and a sophisticated application technique.
Cold plastic for all climates
Each climate demands its own solution. Therefore, the PlastiRoute cold plastic systems are available in different settings depending on the temperature in your specific area. This helps to ensure that you experience a consistent product quality all year round.
PlastiRoute Hot Climate is designed specifically for warm and challenging climate areas with temperatures between 10-50°C. Once cured, our hot climate resins lead to a tough cold plastic and it is available in different material classes depending on which application technique you prefer.
