To most people, road markings may seem like unassuming lines and symbols on our roads. But that is not how we see it. We see the bigger picture where markings guide, inspire and protect people in traffic.

Help us celebrate the power of markings by sharing your best pictures of an application done with Geveko Markings products.

By submitting an entry, you are automatically entered into our prize draw. You will also get a chance to feature in our “Best of 2024 - Project Compilation”, where we showcase the effect horizontal markings have on our daily lives and local communities.

How to participate

All you have to do is upload pictures of your application project and share your contact details with us.

If you want to be in the run-up to win one of the prizes, you need to submit your pictures before 30 September 2024. The competition winners will be announced on 15 October 2024 and notified directly.

Inspiration and guidelines for taking pictures

We are happy that you want to share your best application picture with us! To help you take the best images of your application, we have gathered a few guidelines and inspirational images below to lead you on the way.

  • Make sure the applicator is wearing the correct safety equipment in the pictures.
  • The marking should be the hero of the image, but make sure to include surroundings or people in the photo as well.
  • To make the application look its best, avoid taking images showing equipment, empty packaging, traffic cones, etc.
  • Avoid taking pictures of people’s faces, especially children’s. Instead take the picture from behind or at an angle that hides their faces.
  • Please supply your photos in high resolution.
  • Try to take images in both portrait and landscape orientation.
