Improving road safety on Romania’s busy streets
In Oradea, Romania, local applicator Gamida Euromark completed a major refurbishment project using a tailored combination of three of our PlastiRoute™ products. The goal was clear: replace old, worn markings with something that stays visible, handles heavy traffic, and makes the road safer for everyone.
The previous markings had faded over time, making it harder for both drivers and pedestrians to see where to go. To fix this, the project needed materials that offered strong colour, good skid resistance, and long lasting durability.
This was achieved with the right combination of our PlastiRoute products:
- PlastiRoute RP provided intense, long lasting colour for maximum visibility.
- PlastiRoute FPnt added structured durability ideal for high wear areas.
- PlastiRoute Rollgrip enhanced skid resistance, improving control and safety in critical zones.
Together, these products created a clear, durable marking solution that improves visibility both day and night - and reduces how often the road will need maintenance in the future. The Oradea project shows how combining the right materials can make roads safer, more reliable, and easier to navigate for everyone.
