Beautiful pedestrian crossing as part of the London design festival

Artistic pedestrian crossing is part of the London Design Festival

Alternative pedestrian crossing in DecoMark® designed by Thierry Noir

A pedestrian crossing does not have to be plain white - especially not if you ask the French artist Thierry Noir. For the London Design Festival 2017, Thierry Noir designed an eye-catching, colorful and creative pedestrian crossing with DecoMark® in his iconic style with cartoon-like profiles. The pedestrian crossing was applied in DecoMark® preformed thermoplastic by our UK daughter company, Preformed Markings. They worked on the project together with Transport for London and Better Bankside Community Centre Southwark London, who has been taking part in the event every year since it was founded in 2014.

The London Design Festival itself is an annual event that celebrates and promotes London as the design capital of the world. The festival arranges a variety of activities, talks, and workshops to excite design fans from all over the world.
